As my birthday approaches in two weeks, I've been reflecting a lot on where I am in life in my late twenties, and looking back on all that I've achieved thus far. I got in the photo studio with my friend Eli and he helped capture where I currently am in my career and my growth.
When I see my hard, naked body, I don't just see my glorified sexuality and power, but I see how confident and comfortable I've grown through sharing myself vulnerability and openly with the world. When I look through the selects from this shoot, there are parts of myself that I still cringe at and wish I could change--I wish I was bigger, more sculpted, my face was more symmetrical, more conventionally attractive, my skin was flawless without blemishes--but ultimately, the person I see in these photos is someone I have worked hard to love, trust, and feel proud of. And I hope you can feel that when you look at me too.
