I see men having an advantage in this way — they can pursue professions which require a good deal of strength such as moving or construction work. I don’t feel malice toward those with the physical capacity for hard manual labor. Just like how there are male content creators, there are female movers or construction workers — they are physically disadvantaged at the start, no doubt but can easily build their way up. These men frame their envy in the guise of higher moral principles, but when it comes down to it, if there was a market for them to thrive in, they would seek it out. In life, there are both advantages and disadvantages for each sex. Life is not about fairness, because let’s face it, life is not fair; we accept the cards we were dealt and make the best of our situation. Even though I have a day job, did all that was expected of me such as graduate college, attend graduate school, etc, I still somehow feel this need to defend myself, as if to say, I am more than a “sex worker” (and I am still hesitant about even calling myself one) — this way of thinking at the onset is demeaning of sex workers because it acts on the assumption that being a sex worker is the lowest you can get, any other job will necessarily add some value to the individual. The stigma is annoying to deal with because I’m not used to facing any. For the most part, I’m the type of girl who didn’t break many rules, I tended to follow the orders of authority figures and wanted to blend in with well todo society. I suppose, I still do that on the outside. I should just stop caring what people like this think altogether; they have demonstrated that their opinions are not grounded by logic or reason, but by their petty grievances.
